Our New Home....For Now.

I guess that this is just like a diary so here goes.
I am in need of lots of emotional therapy. God is really helping me. I just need a miracle. Since we now live in sunny California, things are a lot different. I never thought that they would be this different. I suppose I just wasn't sure of anything when we first made the decision to move anyway. My husband served this country for 10 whole years. I know that there are a lot of families out there that have a tough time making ends meet. But I truly believe that the men and women that have sacrificed their lives for this country should be taken care of above all. Not with riches, but with security. With $30 dollars left in the bank 2 kids and no savings due to living paycheck to paycheck, we are desperate. We have taken all the steps in looking for help. Welfare. No help. Applied in mid July. Today is August 4th. My husband was told that he just needs to wait. For what? 30 days to process. $30 in the bank. What to do. 2 kids. Back and forth to the Church is our only trip that's worth it. Gas tank always empty. $5 will do. The empty light wont go off though. Never thought that it would take so long to get that dd214. Thanks Air Force. What a great last memory of our dedication as a United States Air Force Family. Thanks. I really feel like I am on this high high cliff (Air Force) and I am looking down ( separating to civilian life) and I jump (separated) and brace myself for that cold hard hit into the water. POVERTY.

Mom's Strawberry lemonade.....

Easy quick drink....my family loved.
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 16oz container frozen strawberries
blend well
add water to fill line in jug.
Serve. Took me less than 5 min.
Cost about $3
Made a huge jug.
